Over time and when it eventually becomes a scar, she will probably make her peace with, but for now, she has to handle it in the way that's best for her.

When those words are spoken to her, Bela doesn't immediately reply because of the weight they carry. She's already told James about her lack of romantic entanglements - serious ones, that is. ]
